Massey Ferguson 00.01.33 – Dash: Clutch Pedal Calibration Issue

Triggered when the control system detects that the clutch pedal's travel parameters (minimum and maximum potentiometer values) are out of the expected range, or a required calibration routine has not been successfully completed.

   Check for related voltage codes (e.g., 00.01.37, 00.01.39, or 00.01.3A) which indicate a hard electrical failure from the clutch pedal sensor

   Inspect the clutch pedal potentiometer/sensor fork and linkage under the dash for physical damage, looseness, or excessive wear

   Inspect the wiring harness and the connector at the clutch pedal sensor for corrosion, bent pins, or chafed wires

   Ensure operating conditions are met for calibration: transmission oil up to operating temperature (>50°C) and handbrake engaged

   Attempt Clutch Pedal Calibration

   Connect the AGCO Electronic Diagnostic Tool (EDT) to the tractor's diagnostic port. Navigate to the Calibration tab and select Clutch Pedal Calibration. Follow the on-screen prompts to allow the Dash to learn the new minimum and maximum travel values.

   Prepare for sensor replacement

   If the calibration fails, or if the pedal values jump erratically during the procedure, turn off the tractor and disconnect the battery isolator switch. Locate the clutch pedal sensor (potentiometer) attached to the clutch pedal pivot assembly under the dashboard console.

   Replace the clutch pedal sensor

   Disconnect the electrical harness connector from the sensor and remove the mounting screws/bolts. Install the new clutch pedal sensor, ensuring the fork/linkage is correctly aligned with the pedal pivot mechanism. Secure the mounting hardware and reconnect the electrical harness.

   Perform final calibration

   You must perform the Clutch Pedal Calibration procedure after installing a new sensor so the Dash module can learn the new component's voltage sweep.
