   Test battery and charging system voltage (a fully charged battery should read around 12.6V) to rule out low system voltage or alternator overcharging.

   Inspect the wiring harness running from the back of the instrument cluster to the sensors for rub points, pinched wires, or exposed copper.

   Disconnect the main harness at the back of the dash and check for bent pins, corrosion, or moisture intrusion. Clean with electrical contact cleaner if necessary.
