Massey Ferguson 00.03.34 – Dash: Issue With Signal Voltage From Foot Throttle Sensor (Dash)

This fault indicates that the voltage signal being sent from the foot throttle sensor (accelerator pedal) is outside the expected parameters (e.g., signal above maximum range, below minimum range, or no signal). The system relies on this variable voltage signal to translate pedal pressure into precise fuel injection and RPM output.

   Check the wiring harness between the foot throttle sensor and the Dash/ECU. Look for short circuits to ground, open circuits, or chafed wires.

   Inspect the electrical connectors at the pedal for corrosion, loose pins, or moisture intrusion.

   Check for micro-cracks in the circuit traces, faulty resistors, damaged MOSFETs, or degraded solder joints inside the pedal's sensor module.

   Verify that the sensor is receiving its standard 5V reference supply voltage from the control module.

   Disconnect Power

   Turn off the tractor and disconnect the battery to prevent electrical spikes during repair.

   Expose the Sensor

   Locate the foot throttle sensor assembly at the base of the accelerator pedal in the cab.

   Repair Wiring

   If the diagnostic checks revealed a short circuit or broken wire in the harness, repair the damaged section of the wiring and replace any corroded connector pins.

   Replace or Rebuild the Sensor

   If the wiring is intact and the 5V supply is present, the sensor itself is defective. Option A: Remove the mounting bolts and electrical connector, and install a completely new foot throttle sensor/pedal assembly. Option B: Send the faulty throttle pedal module to a specialized agricultural electronics repair lab (such as UpFix) to have the internal circuit board, resistors, and solder joints restored.

   Clear Codes

   Reconnect the battery, turn the key to the ON position, and use a diagnostic service tool to clear the inactive 00.03.34 code from the Dash module.
