Massey Ferguson 00.03.35 – Dash: Issue With The Signal Voltage From Forward/Reverse Lever (Dash)

This code indicates that the dashboard module is receiving an incorrect, out-of-range, or missing signal voltage from the Forward/Reverse lever (also known as the Power Shuttle or Power Control lever). This lever controls the directional shuttle, neutral selection, and transmission ratio changes.

   Check the signal voltage coming from the Forward/Reverse lever to the Dash module to confirm if the voltage is too high, too low, or missing.

   Inspect the wiring harness and electrical connectors between the Power Control lever on the steering column and the dashboard. Look for open circuits, shorts, or corroded pins.

   Test the internal switches of the lever, including the neutral position switch and the directional (forward/reverse) engagement switches, as these send the voltage signals to the dash.

   Disconnect Power

   Disconnect the tractor's battery to prevent electrical shorts during the repair.

   Access the Lever

   Remove the steering column shrouds/covers to expose the base of the Forward/Reverse Power Control lever, which is mounted on the left side of the steering column.

   Disconnect Wiring

   Unplug the electrical connector linking the lever to the tractor's main dash harness.

   Remove the Lever

   Unscrew the mounting hardware securing the lever assembly to the steering column and remove the faulty lever.

   Install the New Part

   Mount the replacement Forward/Reverse lever and secure it with the mounting screws.

   Reconnect and Reassemble

   Plug in the electrical connector, ensuring it seats firmly. Reinstall the steering column covers.

   Reconnect the battery. Turn on the tractor, clear the logged 00.03.35 fault code from the dash, and test the forward, reverse, and neutral functions to ensure the transmission engages correctly without throwing the code.
