Massey Ferguson 00.1.3B – Dash: Issue With The Signal Voltage From Forward/Reverse Lever Signal Voltage High (Dash)
Issue description
The system is detecting an abnormally high voltage on the signal circuit for the Forward/Reverse lever (Power Shuttle lever), which typically indicates an open circuit, a short to a power source, or an internal failure of the electrical contacts/sensor inside the lever assembly itself.

Check the cause
Remove the steering column shroud and visually inspect the wiring harness leading to the Forward/Reverse lever for chafed wires, pinch points, or broken insulation
Disconnect the plug at the base of the lever and inspect the pins for corrosion, moisture, or pushed-out terminals
Check for a good ground on the ground circuit
Verify the reference voltage from the Dash module is present
Test the signal wire for continuity between the lever connector and the Dash module
Check if the signal wire is shorted to a 12V power source
If wiring and voltages check out perfectly, suspect an internal failure of the shuttle lever contacts/sensor
Repair steps
Safety First
Park the tractor on a level surface, engage the parking brake, turn off the engine, and disconnect the negative battery cable to prevent electrical shorts.
Access the Lever
Remove the plastic covers/shrouds surrounding the steering column to expose the base of the Forward/Reverse lever.
Disconnect
Unplug the electrical connector from the shuttle lever harness.
Remove
Unscrew the mounting fasteners securing the lever assembly to the steering column and slide the old unit out.
Install
Position the new Power Shuttle Lever into the column and secure it with the mounting screws.
Reconnect
Plug the electrical connector back in, ensuring it clicks securely into place.
Reassemble
Reinstall the steering column shrouds.
Test
Reconnect the battery. Turn the ignition on and verify that the 00.1.3B fault code has cleared. Start the tractor and test the forward, neutral, and reverse engagements to ensure smooth directional control.
