Massey Ferguson 00.1.45 – Dash: Problem With Dash Configuration
Issue description
The instrument panel has either lost its programmed configuration settings, has a corrupted internal memory file, or is detecting a mismatch between its stored configuration parameters and the actual hardware/CAN bus network of the tractor.

Check the cause
Check battery voltage and inspect the wiring harness/connectors leading to the instrument panel for poor grounds, which can cause temporary memory loss.
Scan for accompanying CAN bus communication codes (such as 00.1.49, 00.1.70, or 00.1.71) to determine if the network is down.
Connect a diagnostic tool (such as AGCO EDT or Jaltest) to read the current parameter values and configuration state of the Dash module to see if the tractor code/model has been wiped or altered.
Repair steps
Connect Diagnostic Tool
Hook up a compatible diagnostic scanner to the tractor's diagnostic port.
Reconfigure the Dash
Navigate to the "Parameters" or "Configuration" menu for the Instrument Panel (Dash) module.
Input Tractor Data
Reload or re-enter the correct tractor configuration parameters (e.g., transmission type like Dyna-4/Dyna-6/Dyna-VT, engine model, and cab options).
Clear Codes and Test
Save the configuration, clear the fault code memory, and cycle the tractor's ignition key. Check if the 00.1.45 code returns.
Replace if Necessary
If the Dash module fails to accept the configuration, or if it loses the configuration again after a power cycle, the internal memory (EEPROM) has failed. The instrument panel assembly must be replaced.
Program New Dash
If replaced, the new instrument panel must be programmed with the correct tractor code and parameters upon its first installation using the diagnostic tool.
Parts you might need
(1)Instrument Panel Assembly / Dash Module / Digital Dashboard Cluster
Must source the exact AGCO OEM part number using the tractor's serial number to ensure CAN bus compatibility.
