   Verify Engine Hours: Check the current engine hours on the dash and compare them against the OEM maintenance schedule to see if a routine service (e.g., 50-hour, 250-hour, or 500-hour) is currently due or overdue.

   Check the SIS (System Information Screen): Navigate through the dash menus to the Performance Monitor / Service Clock screen to verify the status of the service counter.

   Check for Dash Configuration Glitches: Determine if the battery was recently disconnected or if the tractor experienced a low-voltage event, which can sometimes corrupt the dash's temporary memory and trigger a counter issue.

   Perform Required Maintenance

   If the tractor is due for service, perform the necessary fluid and filter changes.

   Reset the Service Counter

   Using the navigation buttons on the dash console, access the System Information Screen (SIS). Locate the Service Clock menu and execute the reset procedure to clear the maintenance interval.

   Restore Factory Defaults

   If the counter will not reset or the code remains active, there may be a configuration error. Access the dash settings and perform a "Restore Factory Default Settings" command to clear out corrupted user data.

   Software Update / Dealer Intervention

   If the dash refuses to hold the reset memory, a Massey Ferguson dealer technician may need to re-flash the Dash module software using the OEM diagnostic tool.
