Check the cause
Check system voltage at the battery and alternator regulator to rule out voltage spikes or drops that can corrupt dash memory
Verify CAN BUS communication between the Dash and Autotronic/DCC3 controllers
Use a diagnostic tool to check for an incorrect tractor code selection or parameter table error in the instrument panel settings
Ensure no one attempted to program or configure the instrument panel while the engine was running
Repair steps
Connect Diagnostic Tool
Connect a compatible diagnostic scanner (such as AGCO EDT or Jaltest) to the tractor's diagnostic port.
Read and Save Data
Access the Dash/Instrument Panel module to read the ECU failure memory and check the current parameter table.
Reconfigure the Dash
Reprogram the instrument panel with the correct tractor code and configuration settings for your specific model. Important: Ensure the engine is OFF and the key is in the ON position during programming.
Clear Codes
Clear the fault codes, cycle the ignition key, and verify if the 00.X.45 code returns.
Replace the Cluster (If Necessary)
If the configuration cannot be saved due to an internal EEPROM/RAM failure, the instrument cluster must be replaced. Remove the instrument panel cladding/cover, remove the retaining screws holding the cluster in place, disconnect the plug-and-play wiring harness, install the new instrument cluster and use the diagnostic tool to program the new unit to the tractor's specifications.
