Issue description

Check the cause
Verify the battery and alternator output (should be 13.5V–14.5V) to rule out system overcharging or undercharging.
Perform a sensor isolation test by disconnecting sensors powered by the dash one by one to identify any internal shorts.
Trace the wiring harness from the dash to the sensors, looking for rub points, frayed insulation, or pinched wires.
Check the main connectors at the rear of the instrument panel for moisture, corrosion, loose pins, or pin push-back.
Measure the reference voltage directly at the output pins on the back of the dash using a multimeter to test the internal power supply.

Disconnect Power
Always disconnect the negative battery terminal before working on the tractor's electrical system.
Access the Dash
Remove the steering column shrouds and dashboard trim panels to access the rear of the instrument cluster.
Clean and Repair
If corrosion or moisture is found in the connectors, clean them thoroughly with electrical contact cleaner and apply dielectric grease. Repair any damaged wiring in the harness using heat-shrink connectors.
Replace Faulty Components
If a specific sensor was identified as shorted during the isolation test, replace it. If the dash panel itself is failing to output the correct voltage internally, unbolt the cluster, disconnect the main harness, and install a replacement OEM instrument panel.
Reassemble and Clear Codes
Reconnect the battery, turn the ignition on, and use a diagnostic tool (like Jaltest or AGCO EDT) to clear the fault codes and verify the reference voltage is back in range.
