   Connect a compatible diagnostic tool (such as Massey Ferguson EDT or Jaltest) to read the TECU failure memory and monitor the live voltage value of Auxiliary Valve Switch 7 while actuating it.

   Visually inspect the wiring harness connecting the armrest/joystick console to the TECU for pinched wires, chafing, or damaged connector pins.

   Disconnect the switch and test the circuit with a multimeter for continuity to the TECU, ensuring no voltage is bleeding into the signal wire from a 12V power source.

   Test the switch itself for proper resistance to determine if it has failed internally (e.g., reads open regardless of physical position).

   Power Down

   Turn off the tractor and disconnect the battery to prevent electrical spikes.

   Access the Switch

   Remove the trim panels on the armrest console or multi-function joystick to access the auxiliary valve switches.

   Inspect and Repair Wiring

   If the diagnostic checks revealed a wiring fault (e.g., a broken wire or corroded connector), repair the harness or replace the damaged connector pins.

   Replace the Switch

   If the wiring is intact but the switch failed the multimeter test, disconnect the switch pigtail and remove the faulty Auxiliary Valve Switch 7. Install the new switch/joystick assembly.

   Reassembly

   Reinstall the armrest or joystick trim panels.

   Calibration
