Check the cause
Scan and verify active code 03.00.9A using a compatible diagnostic tool.
Monitor live data for voltage and amperage readings on Auxiliary Valve Switch 8 while actuating the control.
Perform direct actuation tests via the diagnostic tool to isolate the switch, wiring harness, or TECU.
Visually inspect the wiring harness between Auxiliary Valve Switch 8 and the TECU for chafing, pinched wires, or exposed copper.
