Issue description

Check the cause

  1. Inspect the wiring harness routing from the armrest/console to the TECU for chafed wires that might be shorting to a 12V power wire.

  2. Disconnect the plug at Auxiliary Valve Switch 6 and check for bent pins, corrosion, or moisture bridging the terminals.

  3. Using a multimeter, probe the signal wire for Switch 6 with the key ON. If it reads 12V when it shouldn't, there is a short to power in the harness.

  4. Verify that the switch's ground circuit has good continuity to the chassis/TECU ground. A broken ground can cause the TECU to read a high voltage state.

  5. Swap the Switch 6 connection with an adjacent, known-good switch (like Switch 5 or 7). If the fault code moves to the new switch circuit, the switch itself has failed internally. If the code remains 03.02.95, the issue is in the wiring harness or the TECU.

Repair steps

  1. Power Down

    Turn off the tractor, remove the key, and disconnect the negative battery terminal to prevent electrical spikes.

  2. Access the Switch

    Remove the armrest cover or side console panel to access the underside of the auxiliary valve switches.

  3. Isolate the Fault

    Based on your diagnostic checks, isolate whether the fault is the switch or the harness.

  4. Repair Wiring (If Applicable)

    If a short to 12V was found in the harness, splice and repair the damaged section of the wire using heat-shrink butt connectors, or replace the affected harness section.

  5. Replace the Switch (If Applicable)

    If the switch failed the swap test, unclip the faulty Auxiliary Valve Switch 6 from the console bezel, install the replacement OEM switch, and plug in the connector.

  6. Reassembly & Calibration

    Reinstall the armrest/console panels. Reconnect the battery.

  7. Clear Codes

    Turn the key ON and use the tractor's diagnostic dashboard menu or a dealer service tool to clear the inactive 03.02.95 fault code. Test the auxiliary valve to ensure proper operation. (Note: A calibration procedure may be required for the new switch depending on the specific tractor model).
