   Check for related electrical codes (e.g., 03.02.97 or 03.02.98) which indicate a hard electrical fault like a short or open circuit rather than a calibration drift.

   Inspect the physical condition of Valve Switch 7 on the multifunction armrest or joystick for sticking, physical damage, or debris preventing full travel.

   Inspect the wiring harness and connectors between the armrest switch and the TECU for corrosion, loose pins, or chafing.

   Check the mechanical spool valve detents (especially on 7600 series models) for wear, which can cause the system to lose its mechanical reference points and fail calibration.

   Resolve Electrical Faults

   If wiring damage or connector corrosion was found during the diagnostic checks, repair the harness or clean the contacts first.

   Replace Faulty Switch

   If the switch itself is physically broken or fails a multimeter continuity/resistance test, replace the switch assembly in the armrest.

   Perform Spool Valve Switch Calibration

   If the hardware is intact, the system must be recalibrated. This is done using an authorized diagnostic tool (such as AGCO EDT or Jaltest) or via the tractor's Datatronic/CCD terminal. Access the MFA (Multifunction Armrest) system menu, select the calibration routine for the spool valve control lever/switch, and follow the on-screen prompts to move Switch 7 through its full range of motion (maximum flow forward, neutral, maximum flow reverse, and float if applicable) to teach the TECU the new potentiometer values.

   Once calibration is successful, clear the 03.02.99 fault code from the TECU memory and test the hydraulic remote for proper operation.
