   Connect a diagnostic tool and monitor live sensor values for the Hitch Depth Control Dial.

   Perform a sweep test by slowly turning the depth control dial from minimum to maximum. The voltage should sweep smoothly; static, erratic, or constant 0V/5V readings indicate a fault.

   Inspect the wiring harness and connectors inside the armrest console leading to the MFA module board for pinched wires, loose pins, or liquid intrusion.

   Disconnect the dial and test the resistance of the potentiometer directly with a multimeter to determine if the component has failed or if there is a wiring harness issue.

   Power Down

   Turn off the tractor and disconnect the battery to prevent electrical shorts while working inside the armrest.

   Access the MFA

   Carefully remove the protective covers and trim pieces on the right-hand Multi-Function Armrest to expose the internal circuit boards and switch wiring.

   Remove the Faulty Dial

   Locate the Hitch Depth Control Dial assembly. Disconnect its electrical connector from the MFA harness.

   Replace the Component

   Unbolt or unclip the faulty potentiometer from the armrest housing and install the replacement unit.

   Reassembly

   Reconnect the wiring harness, ensuring the connector is fully seated, and reassemble the armrest covers.

   Clear Codes and Calibrate

   Reconnect the battery. Use a diagnostic tool to clear the 03.02.A0 fault code from the MFA memory. Depending on the tractor series, you may need to run a brief calibration routine for the rear hitch controls so the module learns the new potentiometer's minimum and maximum voltage limits.
