   Clear the fault codes using an OBD diagnostic tool or the dashboard interface to see if the code is an active hard fault or a stored intermittent error.

   Locate and inspect Auxiliary Valve Switch 7 on the armrest control unit (either a fingertip spool valve switch or integrated into the multipad joystick).

   Inspect the wiring harness and connectors between the armrest switch and the TECU for chafed wires, damaged connector pins, or areas where the wire might be shorting to a 12V power source.

   Perform a voltage drop test: Disconnect the switch and measure the voltage on the signal wire. If high voltage remains, the short is in the wiring harness or TECU. If voltage drops to normal, the switch has an internal short.

   Power Down

   Turn off the tractor and disconnect the battery to prevent electrical spikes.

   Remove the necessary trim panels on the armrest control unit to access the wiring harness for the fingertip spool valve switches or the multipad joystick.

   If the diagnostic checks revealed a short to 12V in the harness, splice and repair the damaged section of the wire, or replace the affected sub-harness.

   Replace the Switch

   If the switch itself failed the diagnostic test, disconnect the electrical connector, unclip/unscrew the faulty fingertip switch or joystick assembly from the armrest console, and install the new unit.

   Reassemble and Calibrate

   Reconnect the battery, turn the key on, and clear the TECU fault codes. Test the auxiliary valve function to ensure the code does not return and the hydraulic valve responds correctly.
