   Check Power and Ground: Verify the battery voltage and check the main power supply to the TECU. The system will log errors if the supply signal is lower than the minimum value (undervoltage) or higher than the maximum value (overvoltage).

   Inspect Wiring and Connectors: Check the TECU harness junctions and multi-pin connectors for damaged, bent, or oxidized pins.

   Test CAN Bus Communication: Verify that the SAE J1939 data link wiring is not damaged or shorted, as a failure in the CAN data channel can trigger module issues.

   Clear and Retest: Use a diagnostic tool (such as Jaltest or AGCO EDT) to clear the fault code memory. If the code is active, it will be detected again by the ECU immediately upon the next reading.

   Disconnect Power

   Turn off the tractor and disconnect the battery isolator/negative terminal to prevent electrical spikes.

   Locate the TECU

   Access the TECU module. Depending on the model, it is typically located in the cab behind the right-hand console/armrest or integrated into the ISOBUS gateway area.

   Remove the Module

   Carefully disconnect the electrical harness connectors from the TECU. Remove the retaining hardware and extract the faulty module.

   Install the New Module

   Mount the replacement TECU and secure it with the retaining screws. Reconnect all electrical harnesses securely.

   Restore Power

   Reconnect the battery.

   Programming and Calibration

   Connect a compatible diagnostic tool to copy configurations and parameters to the control unit. The TECU must be programmed with the tractor's specific VIN and configuration data (e.g., suspended front axle, suspended cab, transmission type) for the machine to operate correctly.
