   Read all active codes with a diagnostic scanner to find the primary transmission code that triggered the limp mode (e.g., range solenoid faults 04.00.61/04.00.62, speed sensor issues 04.00.40, or filter blockages 04.00.50)

   Inspect the transmission wiring harness for chafing, broken wires, or loose connectors, particularly around the transmission side cover where the solenoids are mounted

   Verify the transmission hydraulic oil level and check for signs of contamination or a blocked transmission filter

   Use your diagnostic tool to identify the primary fault code responsible for triggering 04.00.59.

   Test the Suspect Component

   Perform electrical and mechanical tests on the component indicated by the primary code. For example, if a range solenoid code is present, test the solenoid's resistance with a multimeter and check for 12V power at the connector.

   Replace the Faulty Component

   Repair the broken wire, or replace the failed component (e.g., range change solenoid, speed sensor, or transmission filter).
