   Inspect the C1 button on the joystick/armrest for physical damage, sticking, or debris lodged around the button housing that might keep it permanently depressed.

   Inspect the wiring harness and electrical connectors running from the armrest joystick to the main cab harness for chafing, pinched wires, or loose pins.

   Check the switch circuit for continuity, shorts to ground, or open circuits.

   Verify there are no accompanying CAN bus communication fault codes, which would indicate a broader harness or module issue rather than just the button.

   Power Down

   Turn off the tractor and disconnect the battery to prevent electrical shorts during disassembly.

   Access the Joystick

   Remove the retaining screws on the armrest console cover to expose the underside of the joystick control unit.

   Carefully unplug the multi-pin electrical connector from the bottom of the joystick assembly.

   Reassembly
