   Connect a compatible diagnostic tool (such as Jaltest AGV or an AGCO dealer tool) to confirm the 04.00.A1 code is active and check for any secondary voltage or CAN BUS codes (e.g., 04.00.B0).

   Inspect the wiring harness leading to the transmission actuator. Look for chafing, breaks, or melted wires.

   Disconnect the actuator plug and check for water ingress, bent pins, or corrosion. Clean the contacts with electrical contact cleaner.

   Verify that the actuator is receiving the correct reference voltage and has a solid ground connection from the TRANS module.

   Attempt to run a transmission calibration routine via the diagnostic tool. If the internal position sensor has simply lost its learned parameters, a recalibration may resolve the issue without requiring hard parts.

   Park the tractor on a flat, level surface, engage the parking brake, and turn off the engine. Disconnect the battery ground cable.

   Locate the transmission actuator on the Dyna-VT transmission housing. Clean the surrounding area thoroughly to prevent dirt from entering the transmission.

   Disconnect the electrical harness connector from the actuator.
