Check the cause
Check the current software version on the TRANS module using a dealer-level Electronic Diagnostic Tool (EDT).
Check if the module is completely unresponsive to a reflash, indicating internal failure.
Repair steps
Connect diagnostic tool
Connect a dealer-level Electronic Diagnostic Tool (EDT) to the machine.
Reflash software
Perform a software reflash/update on the TRANS module.
Replace ECU
If the module is completely unresponsive to a reflash or the software cannot be updated, replace the Transmission Control Module (ECU).
