Check the cause
Verify transmission oil temperature is between 35°C (95°F) and 45°C (113°F) on the Dash Control Center under diagnostic screen 1
Cycle the PowerShuttle lever (forward and reverse) 10 times in each direction for 5 to 10 seconds to warm up components to the exact temperature of the transmission fluid
Configure the PowerShuttle progressivity settings (forward, reverse, and ratio shifting sensitivity) all to 0 on the dash screen
Ensure the PTO, differential lock, and front axle are completely disengaged to prevent interference with the calibration process
Repair steps
Prepare tractor for calibration
Position the tractor on flat ground, place the transmission in neutral, and release the parking brake.
Adjust engine speed
Raise the engine speed to 1500 RPM (± 100 RPM) using the hand throttle.
Initiate calibration sequence
Raise the PowerShuttle arm to the "raised" position (left of the steering wheel) and hold it there while simultaneously pressing the differential lock switch.
Hold controls until prompt
Hold both for approximately 3 to 10 seconds until the right-hand instrument panel (transmission gear screen) displays "Ct".
Begin calibration
Once "Ct" is displayed, place the PowerShuttle arm into the forward position to begin the calibration.
Allow calibration to complete
Allow the tractor to calibrate. This takes approximately 10 minutes. It is completely normal to hear the transmission shifting and making noises during this time.
Verify calibration completion
Once calibration is complete, the screen will stop displaying "Ct" and will show the last transmission ratio you were in (e.g., "1A/2A" or "1E/2E").
Save settings
To save the new settings, place the PowerShuttle into the neutral position, disengage the differential lock, idle the tractor down, and switch the engine off.
Validate settings
Restart the tractor and validate the settings by driving back and forth using a variety of maneuvers to ensure shifting is smooth.
