Massey Ferguson 04.01.07 – TRANS: Transmission High Pressure Sensor 2 Signal Voltage Issue

Signal failure or voltage irregularity coming from the transmission's high-pressure sensor. Peak loads in the transmission are no longer monitored, and the transmission may be unable to switch operating ranges.

   Check the 8.5V reference power supply and relevant fuses for the transmission control circuit (e.g., A013 fuse 3 or 13).

   Inspect the wiring harness and connectors between the Transmission Control Module and High Pressure Sensor 2 (Sensor X9/X34) for continuity, shorts to ground, or damaged pins.

   Test the sensor to verify if it is outputting the correct voltage relative to the hydrostatic pressure.

   Depressurize and Replace

   Safely relieve hydraulic pressure and replace the Transmission High Pressure Sensor 2 on the transmission block.

   Mandatory Calibration

   A Transmission Calibration procedure must be carried out systematically after changing the transmission high pressure sensor, the transmission control module, or the transmission itself.

   Calibration Preliminary Conditions

   Before initiating the calibration via the tractor terminal, ensure the hand brake is applied or ParkLock is engaged, the Power Control lever is in the neutral position, and the High/Low (Hare/Tortoise) speed range is in neutral.

   Execute Calibration

   Run the transmission calibration sequence through the Setup & Information Screen (SIS) / tractor terminal immediately after the range calibration is completed.
