   Check System Voltage: Verify battery voltage and system grounds. Low supply voltage to the transmission module can cause software logic errors or communication drops.

   Scan for Additional Codes: Check for other active transmission (TRANS) fault codes. Note any physical sensor codes (like range or speed sensors).

   Check Software Version: Connect a compatible diagnostic tool (e.g., AGCO Electronic Diagnostic Tool or Jaltest AGV) to read the current software version of the transmission controller.

   Verify Transmission Temperature: Ensure the transmission oil temperature is within the normal operating range (15°C to 60°C, with 35°C to 45°C being optimal) in preparation for calibration.

   Connect diagnostic interface

   Connect the dealer diagnostic interface (AGCO EDT or equivalent) to the tractor's diagnostic port.

   Navigate to the Transmission (TRANS) module.
