   Connect a diagnostic tool to read the ECU's technical data, specifically checking the current software version and manufacturer reference.

   Verify battery voltage and alternator output, as low supply voltage to the transmission module can cause software glitches or boot failures.

   Ensure stable CAN BUS communication between the Dash, Engine ECU, and Transmission Controller.

   Attempt to clear the fault code memory and reboot the tractor to see if the code is hard-set.

   Software Flash/Update

   Connect the Massey Ferguson Electronic Diagnostic Tool (EDT) and attempt to re-flash or update the transmission controller to the latest software version provided by AGCO.

   Module Replacement

   If the TCU refuses to accept the software flash, or if the internal memory is permanently corrupted (bricked), the Transmission Control Unit must be physically replaced.

   Transmission Calibration

   Whether the software is successfully updated or a new module is installed, perform a full transmission calibration (Drive Pedal, Clutch Pedal, and Turbo Clutch).
