   Check the transmission/hydraulic fluid level using the dipstick or sight glass. Low fluid can cause a genuine low-pressure condition, keeping the switch open.

   Inspect the wiring harness leading to the transmission pressure switch. Look for chafed wires, rodent damage, or an unplugged connector. Check the connector pins for corrosion or pushed-out terminals.

   Test the switch for continuity using a multimeter. It should show an open circuit when the engine is off and close (show continuity) when the engine is running and pressure builds. If it remains open while the engine is running, the switch is likely faulty.

   If the switch tests fine or a new switch does not resolve the issue, connect a mechanical hydraulic pressure gauge to the transmission test port to verify if the transmission is actually generating the required pressure (e.g., 1.3 Bar or 8 Bar depending on the specific circuit).

   Park the tractor on a level surface, engage the parking brake, and turn off the engine. Allow the transmission to cool.

   Locate the transmission pressure switch on the side of the transmission housing or near the transmission oil filter housing/control valve block.

   Thoroughly clean the area around the switch to prevent dirt or debris from entering the transmission hydraulic circuit when the switch is removed.

   Disconnect

   Unplug the electrical connector from the pressure switch.

   Place a small catch pan underneath to catch any residual hydraulic fluid. Use a wrench to carefully unscrew the faulty pressure switch.

   Thread the new OEM pressure switch into the port by hand to prevent cross-threading, then tighten it to the manufacturer's torque specification.

   Reconnect the electrical connector, ensuring it clicks securely into place.
