The transmission control module has detected an internal software error, memory corruption, or a logic failure within its programming. This is typically a software-level fault rather than a mechanical failure of the transmission itself.

   Attempt to clear the fault code using a diagnostic tool to determine if the error was a transient glitch.

   Verify the tractor's battery voltage and charging system. Low supply voltage to the transmission module can cause memory faults and trigger internal software errors.

   Connect the AGCO Electronic Diagnostic Tool (EDT) to check the current software revision on the transmission controller.

   Reset the System

   Perform a hard reset by disconnecting the battery for 10-15 minutes to clear volatile memory, then reconnect and re-test.

   Reflash/Update Software

   If the code persists, connect the AGCO EDT tool and reflash the transmission controller with the latest OEM software update.

   Recalibrate

   After a successful software flash, perform a transmission calibration procedure (such as the reverse shuttle and input shaft speed sensor calibrations) to ensure the new software syncs with the transmission sensors.

   Module Replacement

   If the AGCO EDT tool cannot communicate with the module, the flash process fails, or the code immediately returns after a successful update, the Transmission Control Module (TCU) has suffered a hard internal failure and must be replaced.
