   Verify the power supply voltage to the transmission module, as low voltage can cause software glitches or boot failures.

   Inspect the CAN BUS communication lines between the transmission controller, dash, and engine ECU to ensure the issue isn't caused by dropped communication packets.

   Connect a specialized diagnostic tool to read real-time data and confirm if the controller has lost its calibration reference points.

   Connect Diagnostic Equipment

   Hook up a compatible diagnostic laptop/tool to the tractor's diagnostic port.

   Software Update (Flashing)

   Check for available OEM software updates for the transmission controller. Re-flash the TCM with the latest software version to overwrite any corrupted files.

   Transmission Calibration

   If the software update is successful, perform a full transmission calibration (including Power Shuttle, clutch pedal, and gear/range calibration). Ensure transmission fluid is at operating temperature (35°C to 45°C).

   Clear Codes and Test

   Clear the 04.03.EB code and test drive the tractor.

   Module Replacement

   If the diagnostic tool cannot communicate with the TCM, the software flash fails, or the code immediately returns after calibration, replace the TCM and program it to the tractor.
