   Verify that the transmission module is receiving proper supply voltage, as low voltage can cause the module to log internal errors

   Inspect the wiring harness leading to the transmission module for chafing, corrosion, or loose connector pins

   Check for accompanying codes such as 04.1.FE, 04.1.FF, or 04.1.A2 to help narrow down if it is a software/calibration issue or a communication failure

   Use an AGCO diagnostic tool to clear the DTCs and operate the tractor to see if the code returns as an active fault

   Software Update/Calibration

   Connect the AGCO 2x4 CANUSB diagnostic scanner (using FenDias/WinTest software). Attempt to re-flash or recalibrate the transmission module parameters.

   Module Replacement

   If the module will not accept a calibration or the internal fault persists, the Transmission Module must be physically replaced.

   Access the Module

   Locate the transmission module (location varies by cab configuration, often found under the right-hand console or behind the seat).

   Disconnect

   Disconnect the negative battery terminal, then carefully unplug the multi-pin connectors from the TCU.

   Install and Program

   Install the new or remanufactured module. Note: A new module is not plug-and-play; it must be programmed and calibrated to the specific tractor's transmission using the AGCO diagnostic tool.
