Check the cause
Connect the AGCO EDT (Electronic Diagnostic Tool) via a CANUSB adapter to read all active and stored transmission codes
Verify the power supply to the transmission module (check for related codes like T130 or T132 indicating low supply voltage, which can cause software glitches)
Ensure there is proper CAN bus communication between the TRANS module, the Dash, and other ECUs
Repair steps
Software Reflash/Update
Using the AGCO EDT software, attempt to reflash or update the firmware on the Transmission Control Module.
Calibration
If the software update is successful, use the EDT to run actuator calibrations, sensor calibrations, and functional tests for the transmission (e.g., clutch engagement and adaptation values).
Module Replacement
If the module is 'bricked,' internally corrupted, or will not accept the software update, the Transmission Control Module itself must be physically replaced.
Post-Repair Road Test
Monitor live transmission data during acceleration and deceleration to ensure the software issue is resolved and the transmission shifts correctly.
Parts you might need
(1)Transmission Control Module (TCM) / Transmission Controller / Autotronic Unit
V03649Autotronic I units for older series. For 5600/7600 series, pull specific part number using the tractor's VIN in the AGCO parts catalog.
