Check the cause
Verify the power supply and ground connections to the transmission controller. Low supply voltage (which can trigger related codes like T130) can cause the internal software to crash or fail to boot properly.
Inspect the CAN BUS communication lines and the transmission controller earth/ground (e.g., connector X176) for corrosion or damage.
Use a specialized diagnostic tool (such as the AGCO Electronic Diagnostic Tool) to attempt to clear the DTCs. If the code clears, attempt a full transmission calibration.
Repair steps
Disconnect battery
Disconnect the tractor's battery to prevent electrical spikes.
Locate controller
Locate the Autotronic 5 Transmission Controller (typically located in the right-hand console or under the cab floor depending on the exact model).
Disconnect harnesses
Disconnect the multi-pin wiring harnesses (e.g., 96-pin connectors) from the module.
Replace controller
Remove the faulty transmission controller and install the replacement Autotronic 5 unit.
Program module
A new Autotronic module is often blank or requires an Autotronic conversion programming kit to flash the correct software for your specific tractor's serial number and transmission type (Dyna-4/6/VT).
Calibrate transmission
Once programmed, you must perform the transmission calibration procedure (and clutch pedal calibration) using the AGCO diagnostic tool before the tractor can be driven.
