   Verify that the operator is not 'riding the clutch' (resting their foot on the clutch pedal while driving), as this behavior directly triggers the fault.

   Inspect the Top of Clutch Pedal Switch for physical damage, sticking, or loose electrical connections.

   Test the clutch pedal potentiometer (position sensor) to ensure it is sending a smooth, continuous voltage signal to the TRANS module without dropouts.

   Correct Operator Behavior

   If the issue is caused by the operator riding the pedal, clear the code and advise the operator. No mechanical repair is needed.

   Replace Faulty Sensors

   If the pedal is not being ridden, locate the clutch pedal switch and/or the clutch pedal potentiometer on the pedal linkage. Disconnect the wiring harness, unbolt the faulty sensor, and install the replacement OEM part.

   Recalibrate the Transmission

   After replacing the switch or potentiometer, perform a clutch pedal/transmission calibration procedure so the computer can relearn the 0% to 100% stroke positions.
