Check the cause
Check Transmission Oil Temperature: Ensure fluid is between 35°C (95°F) and 45°C (113°F) for successful calibration.
Inspect the 'Bottom of Clutch' (BOC) Switch: Check for electrical continuity and physical wear in the pedal box.
Check for Accompanying Codes: Look for codes like 04.X.ED (Clutch Pedal Not Calibrated) indicating physical sensor failure.
Warm Up Solenoids: Engage PTO and cycle PowerShuttle forward/reverse 10 times for 5-10 seconds each to warm control units and valves.
Repair steps
Preparation
Park the tractor on flat, level ground in an obstacle-free area. Apply the handbrake firmly.
Temperature Verification
Access 'Diagnostic Screen 1' on the Dash Control Center or Datatronic display to verify the transmission oil temperature is between 35°C and 45°C.
Enter Calibration Mode
Depending on the model, enter calibration mode either through the Datatronic terminal's service menu or by holding specific buttons (often the HI and LO shift switches) simultaneously while starting the engine.
Engine Speed
Increase and maintain the engine speed to the specified RPM (usually 1500 RPM ± 100) as prompted by the dash display.
Execute Calibration
Shift the PowerShuttle lever into the forward position when prompted. The tractor's computer will automatically stroke the transmission valves to learn the bite points of the turbo clutch. Do not interrupt this process.
Component Replacement
If the calibration repeatedly fails or the tractor remains jerky when inching, replace the Bottom of Clutch Switch (or the clutch pedal controller) in the pedal box, clear the codes, and perform the calibration procedure again.
