Massey Ferguson 06.00.05 – TRANS1: Issue With Rear PTO Clutch Speed Sensor Signal Dyna VT (TRANS1)

The transmission control system has detected an irregular, missing, or out-of-range electrical signal from the Rear PTO clutch speed sensor (X15). The underlying condition is typically an electrical fault (such as the signal line being in an open circuit, short-circuited to earth/ground, or short-circuited to +12V), a sensor supply voltage error, or a mechanical discrepancy where the PTO clutch speed differs significantly (e.g., over 12% to 20%) from the engine speed or output shaft speed, which indicates potential clutch slippage.

   Use a specialized Massey Ferguson diagnostic tool to clear the 06.00.05 fault code from the TRANS1 module. Test operate the PTO to ensure the code does not return.
