Issue description
The transmission controller has detected an electrical irregularity (such as an open circuit, short to ground, or short to power) in the circuit supplying voltage to the solenoid responsible for engaging the ECO speed mode of the Power Take-Off (PTO).

Check the cause
Inspect the Wiring Harness: Trace the wiring from the TRANS1 controller to the PTO ECO Speed Solenoid located on the transmission valve block. Look for chafed wires, rodent damage, or melted insulation.
Check Connectors: Disconnect the plug at the PTO solenoid. Inspect the pins for corrosion, moisture ingress, or pushed-out terminals.
Test Solenoid Resistance: Using a multimeter, measure the resistance across the pins of the PTO ECO Speed Solenoid coil. An open circuit (infinite resistance) or a dead short indicates a failed internal coil, requiring replacement.
Verify Voltage Supply: With the tractor running and the PTO ECO speed engaged via the cab switch, check for proper voltage (typically 12V) at the harness connector. If no voltage is present, the issue lies upstream in the wiring harness, a relay, a blown fuse in the main/secondary fuse box, or the TRANS1 controller itself.
Check Ground: Ensure the ground circuit for the solenoid is clean and has good continuity to the chassis.

Preparation
Park the tractor on a level surface, engage the parking brake, turn off the engine, and remove the key. Relieve any residual hydraulic pressure if required by your specific model's service manual.
Locate the Solenoid
Locate the PTO control valve block, typically situated at the rear of the transmission housing near the PTO output shaft. Identify the specific solenoid for the ECO speed circuit.
Clean the Area
Thoroughly clean the area around the solenoid valve with brake cleaner or a degreaser to prevent dirt from contaminating the transmission hydraulic system.
Removal
Disconnect the electrical connector. Depending on the valve design, either unscrew the retaining nut to slide the coil off the valve stem (if replacing just the coil), or unscrew the entire solenoid valve cartridge from the manifold block.
Installation
Lubricate the O-rings on the new solenoid valve with clean transmission fluid. Thread the new valve into the block by hand to prevent cross-threading, then tighten to the manufacturer's specified torque.
Reconnection
Reattach the electrical connector, ensuring it clicks securely into place.
Testing
Start the tractor and engage the PTO in ECO mode. Verify that the PTO engages smoothly and check the valve block for any hydraulic leaks.
Clear Codes
Use a diagnostic tool or the tractor's instrument panel reset procedure to clear the 06.00.1B fault code from the TRANS1 module.
