Massey Ferguson 06.00.1D – TRANS1: Issue With Voltage To 1000 PTO Speed Solenoid Dyna VT
Issue description
The onboard diagnostic system has detected an electrical irregularity—such as an open circuit, a short to ground, or a short to power—in the circuit that supplies voltage to the solenoid responsible for engaging the 1000 RPM Power Take-Off (PTO) speed. Because the system cannot verify the correct voltage drop or continuity through the solenoid coil, it disables the function to prevent damage and logs the code.

Check the cause
Visually inspect the wiring harness from the TRANS1 controller to the PTO valve block on the transmission for chafed wires, melted insulation, or pinch points.
Disconnect the electrical plug at the 1000 PTO speed solenoid and inspect the pins for corrosion, dirt, or hydraulic fluid ingress.
Perform a coil resistance test using a multimeter across the pins of the solenoid coil. An 'OL' reading means the internal coil is broken, while near zero ohms indicates a dead short.
Perform a voltage supply test with the tractor running by commanding the 1000 PTO speed via cab controls and checking for voltage at the harness connector to ensure the TRANS1 module is sending the signal.
Repair steps
Park the tractor on a level surface, turn off the engine, remove the key, and engage the parking brake.
Relieve any residual hydraulic pressure in the system.
Only necessary if you are replacing the entire cartridge valve (not necessary if only replacing the slide-on electromagnetic coil).
Locate the PTO control valve block on the transmission housing.
Disconnect the electrical wiring harness from the 1000 PTO speed solenoid.
Remove the retaining nut at the top of the solenoid stem.
Slide the faulty solenoid coil off the valve stem.
If replacing the whole valve, unthread the cartridge from the manifold, ensuring no dirt enters the hydraulic system.
Slide the new solenoid coil onto the stem.
Or thread in the new valve, lubricating O-rings with clean hydraulic fluid.
Reinstall and tighten the retaining nut to secure the coil.
Reconnect the electrical harness, ensuring the weather-pack seal clicks into place.
Turn on the tractor and use the onboard diagnostic screen (or a dealer diagnostic tool) to clear the 06.00.1D DTC code. Test the 1000 PTO engagement.
