   Visual Inspection: Check the physical condition of the PTO neutral button (typically a yellow momentary switch) on the multifunction armrest or console for sticking, physical damage, or debris.

   Wiring & Connector Check: Access the back of the switch and inspect the 3-terminal connector. Look for loose pins, corrosion, or damaged wires leading to the TRANS1 module.

   Continuity Testing: Use a multimeter to test the switch for proper continuity when the button is pressed and released.

   CAN BUS / Voltage Check: Verify that the switch is receiving proper voltage (12V system). Check for related CAN BUS communication codes (such as 06.00.B5 or 06.00.A1), which might indicate a broader wiring harness or communication issue rather than just a failed switch.

   Disconnect the 3-terminal electrical harness connector from the back of the faulty PTO switch.

   Depress the retaining clips on the sides of the switch and push it out of the mounting panel.

   Snap the new replacement switch into the panel until it clicks securely into place.

   Reconnect the electrical harness to the new switch.
