   Verify that the attached implement is not seized, jammed, or excessively heavy for the current PTO engagement settings. Test the PTO engagement with the implement disconnected to see if the code persists.

   Check the PTO engagement modulation settings in the tractor's System Information Screen (SIS). An overly aggressive engagement setting on a heavy implement will drag the engine RPM down.

   Use the Massey Ferguson Wintest diagnostic software to monitor the live data from the Engine Speed Sensor and the PTO Speed Sensor. Look for erratic readings, dropouts, or signal failures during engagement.

   Inspect the wiring harnesses and connectors for the PTO speed sensor and engine speed sensor for corrosion, moisture, or physical damage.

   Check if the PTO clutch requires recalibration. A poorly calibrated clutch can engage too harshly, causing the engine speed to drop excessively.
