Massey Ferguson 06.03.B5 – TRANS1: Issue With CAN BUS From PTO Neutral Button Dyna VT (TRANS1)
Issue description

Check the cause
Use the tractor's Datatronic terminal or specialized diagnostic software to confirm the active 06.03.B5 code.
Check the PTO Neutral button on the multifunction armrest for physical damage, sticking, or debris preventing it from actuating.
Inspect the wiring harness connecting the PTO command switch to the armrest controller. Look for loose connector pins, corrosion, or chafed wires that could interrupt the CAN BUS signal.
Verify that the A100 Multifunction Armrest controller is properly communicating with the TRANS1 module.
Repair steps
Power Down
Turn off the tractor and disconnect the battery to prevent electrical shorts during the repair.
Access the Switch
Carefully remove the trim panels on the multifunction armrest to expose the underside of the PTO command switches.
Disconnect
Unplug the electrical connector from the faulty PTO Neutral button.
Remove and Replace
Unclip or unscrew the old switch from the armrest console. Insert the new OEM PTO command switch and secure it in place.
Reconnect
Plug the electrical connector back into the new switch, ensuring it is fully seated. Reassemble the armrest trim.
Clear Codes
Reconnect the battery and turn on the ignition. Use the tractor's diagnostic software or the onboard terminal to clear the fault codes. (On some related AGCO/Fendt systems, codes can be cleared by pressing a specific combination of dashboard buttons until the symbol flashes and clears).
Test
Test the PTO engagement and neutral functions to ensure the CAN BUS communication is restored and the code does not return.
