   Verify system voltage: Ensure the battery is fully charged and load-tested. Low battery voltage or a failing alternator can cause the transmission controller to glitch and log false internal software errors.

   Check for accompanying codes: Look for low supply voltage codes (such as T130 or T132 'Transmission Module Low Supply Voltage') which point to a power issue rather than a failed module.

   Inspect connections: Check the wiring harness connectors at the Transmission Control Unit for moisture, corrosion, or backed-out pins that could interrupt power or CAN bus communication.

   Module communication test: Connect the Massey Ferguson Electronic Diagnostic Tool (EDT) to see if the TRANS module is actively communicating on the CAN bus.

   Stabilize Voltage

   Connect the tractor to a stable battery maintainer to ensure voltage does not drop during diagnostic procedures.

   Attempt a Software Flash

   Connect the Massey Ferguson EDT (Electronic Diagnostic Tool) to the tractor's diagnostic port. Navigate to the module programming section and attempt to reflash/update the Transmission Control Unit with the latest OEM software calibration.

   Verify Repair

   After the flash is complete, cycle the key and attempt to clear the DTCs. If the code clears and the transmission operates normally, the software corruption is resolved.

   Replace the Module (If Necessary)

   If the module refuses to accept the software update, loses communication during the flash, or if the 06.X.E0 code immediately returns, the internal memory of the TCU has physically failed.

   Install and Calibrate

   Remove the faulty Transmission Control Unit and install the replacement. Use the EDT to program the new module to the tractor's specific chassis/transmission configuration and perform a full transmission calibration routine.
