   Perform a mechanical override test by manually pushing in on the valve solenoid from the rear of the tractor. If the hitch raises mechanically, the issue is strictly electrical (wiring, coil, or module).

   Test the coil resistance with a multimeter by disconnecting the raise solenoid. An infinite reading confirms the solenoid coil itself has an open circuit and must be replaced.

   Inspect the wiring harness and connectors between the HITCH module and the rear linkage raise solenoid for breaks, corrosion, or loose connections.

   Test the cab lift/lower rocker switch with a multimeter to confirm it hasn't failed and is sending the correct signal to the module.

   Prepare tractor

   Ensure the tractor is parked safely on level ground. Lower the rear linkage completely to relieve hydraulic pressure, or support it safely if it is stuck in a raised position.

   Disconnect battery

   Turn off the tractor and disconnect the battery to prevent electrical shorts.

   Locate valve block

   Locate the rear linkage hydraulic control valve block at the rear of the tractor.
