   Inspect the rocker switch for physical damage, moisture ingress, or heavy dirt buildup.

   Disconnect the switch and inspect the electrical connections to verify pins are clean, secure, and free of corrosion.

   Use a multimeter to check for proper voltage at the harness connector and test the switch for continuity when toggled to the UP and DOWN positions.

   Trace the wiring harness from the switch back to the main harness to check for chafing, shorts, or breaks.
