   Inspect the external mudguard hitch buttons for physical damage, sticking rocker mechanisms, or heavy dirt/moisture ingress.

   Trace the wiring loom from the rear fender switches back to the HITCH module. Look for chafed wires, pinched lines, or broken connections.

   Disconnect the switch and inspect the electrical contacts for corrosion, rust, or bent pins.

   Use a multimeter to test the switch for proper continuity when the rocker is pressed up and down. Verify that the reference voltage from the HITCH module is reaching the connector.

   Turn off the tractor, remove the key, and ensure the hydraulic system is shut down and the rear hitch is safely lowered or supported.

   Access the Switch

   Locate the faulty up/down rocker switch on the rear mudguard/fender.

   Carefully pry or unclip the switch housing from the mudguard panel.

   Unplug the factory wiring harness connector from the back of the switch.

   Install the New Part

   Connect the new OEM rocker switch to the wiring harness (it is a direct drop-in replacement).
