   Use a compatible Massey Ferguson diagnostic tool to confirm 0A.10.1E is active and check for related codes

   Inspect the external mudguard switches for the hydraulic spool valve, as signal voltage issues can disrupt valve operation

   Verify the spool position sensor value, as sensor errors are a common cause of external valve faults

   Inspect the wiring harness between the Dash and the Mid Mount Valve Module for breaks, corrosion, or loose DIN connectors at the valve coils

   Isolate the Circuit

   Disconnect the battery or power to the hydraulic control module before servicing the valve block.

   Inspect the Valve Coil

   Locate External Hydraulic Valve 1 on the valve block. Disconnect the DIN connector and test the solenoid coil for proper resistance. If the coil is shorted or open, replace the coil.

   Check the Sensor

   If the coil is good, test the spool position sensor. Clean the contacts and ensure it is receiving the correct reference voltage from the module.

   Replace the Valve/Module

   If the electrical inputs are correct but the valve fails to actuate or the module fails to communicate, the hydraulic valve section or the control module itself must be replaced.

   Clear Codes

   Reconnect the harness, power on the tractor, and use the diagnostic tool to clear the DTCs. Test the hydraulic remote to ensure proper operation.
