   Look at the position of the external linkage and ensure the physical valves are in the center/neutral position

   Check the solenoid connector at Spool Valve 1, inspect the wiring harness for rub points, test the coil resistance, and verify ground integrity

   Check the hydraulic fluid level and condition, as dirty or low fluid can cause premature solenoid failure or cause the valve to stick. Check for low hydraulic pressure at the valve block

   Attempt to unlock the valves via the control unit dashboard or armrest controls to see if the code is a hard fault or an intermittent glitch

   Safety First

   Park the tractor on a level surface, lower all implements, relieve all hydraulic system pressure, and disconnect the battery before starting work.

   Access the Valve Block

   Locate the external hydraulic spool valve block (typically mounted at the rear of the transmission housing where the hydraulic lines connect).

   Inspect and Clean

   Clean the area around Spool Valve 1 to prevent dirt from entering the hydraulic system during disassembly.

   Electrical Repair

   If the diagnostic checks revealed a broken wire or corroded connector, repair the harness and re-test.

   Solenoid/Valve Replacement

   If the wiring is good but the coil resistance is out of spec (or the valve is mechanically stuck), remove the retaining hardware for the Spool Valve 1 solenoid.
