   Inspect the wiring harness and connections between the dash/ECU and the hydraulic valve module for damage or corrosion

   Verify the spool position sensor value, as sensor failures are a common cause of external hydraulic valve issues

   Check if the hydraulic valves require calibration

   Retrieve DTCs

   Connect a compatible diagnostic tool or interface device to the tractor to retrieve and confirm the active DTCs.

   Visually inspect components

   Visually inspect External Hydraulic Valve 1, its solenoid, and the spool position sensor for physical damage or leaks.

   Test wiring harness

   Disconnect the electrical connector at the valve and test the wiring harness for continuity and proper voltage.

   Test and replace solenoid or sensor

   Test the valve's solenoid and position sensor. If the solenoid is burnt out or the sensor is providing out-of-range values, replace the faulty component.

   Replace valve assembly

   If the internal spool is mechanically binding or the valve block is damaged, replace the External Hydraulic Valve 1 assembly.

   Perform calibration

   After replacing the parts, perform a hydraulic valve calibration procedure using the diagnostic tool.

   Clear DTCs and test

   Clear the DTCs from the system and test the hydraulic remote to ensure proper operation.
