   Inspect the wiring harness and connector leading to External Hydraulic Valve 1 (electric spool slice) for corrosion, loose pins, or damaged wires.

   Test the spool position sensor output using a compatible diagnostic tool to verify plausible values.

   Check for proper CAN communication between the Dash and the Valve Module.

   Disconnect battery

   Disconnect battery power to the tractor to protect the electrical system.

   Locate valve

   Locate External Hydraulic Valve 1 at the rear hydraulic block.

   Disconnect harness

   Disconnect the electrical harness from the electric spool slice.

   Remove faulty valve

   If the issue is internal to the valve (e.g., failed position sensor or pilot pressure control), unbolt and remove the faulty Electric Spool Slice.

   Install or rebuild valve

   Install the replacement Electric Spool Slice or rebuild the existing valve using an OEM repair kit.

   Reconnect harness

   Reconnect the electrical harness.

   Program and calibrate

   A new Electric Spool Slice must be programmed/calibrated to the tractor using a Massey Ferguson diagnostic tool before it will function correctly.

   Clear codes and test

   Clear the DTCs and test the hydraulic remote for proper operation.
