   Use a compatible Massey Ferguson diagnostic tool to retrieve and confirm the 0A.12.1A code.

   Verify the CAN bus communication lines between the Dash and the Mid Mount Valve Module.

   Physically inspect the wiring harness leading to External Hydraulic Valve 1 for chafed wires, corrosion, or loose pins at the valve connector.

   Check the voltage and resistance values of the spool position sensor on Valve 1 to see if it is returning an out-of-range value.

   Ensure the spool valve cable (if mechanically assisted) is not seized or binding.

   Disconnect Power

   Turn off the tractor and disconnect the battery to prevent electrical shorts during repair.

   If the spool valve cable is stretched or broken, detach it from the lever and the valve linkage, route the new cable, and calibrate the tension.
