   Check for Mechanical Binding: Inspect the spool valve detents, which have a habit of rusting up and causing the valve to stick or jam.

   Relieve Pressure

   Turn off the tractor and cycle the hydraulic levers/controls to relieve all residual hydraulic pressure before opening the system.

   Clean the Area

   Thoroughly clean the external hydraulic valve block to prevent dirt from entering the hydraulic system during disassembly.

   Disconnect Electronics

   Unplug the wiring harness connected to the spool position sensor and the solenoid for Valve 1.

   Address Rusted Detents

   If the valve is mechanically jammed due to rusted detents, remove the detent cap. A known workaround is to purchase detents for the 7600 series and modify them to fit, which is significantly cheaper than replacing the entire valve assembly.

   Remove the Valve Slice

   If the valve itself is faulty, unbolt the specific valve slice (Valve 1) from the hydraulic stack.

   Replace Seals and Reinstall

   When installing the new or repaired valve, always replace the O-rings/seals between the valve slices to prevent internal pressure loss. Torque the mounting bolts to OEM specifications.

   Reassemble and Test

   Reconnect the electrical harness. Top up the hydraulic fluid (using a UTTO like 10W40). Use a compatible diagnostic tool to clear the 0A.12.25 code and test the remote hydraulic function.
