   Check Hydraulic System Pressure & Temperature: The service pump should produce approximately 18 bar of system pressure for the control spool valves. Ensure the hydraulic oil temperature sensor is reading correctly, as cold oil bypasses the cooler and can affect valve operation.

   Inspect for Leaks: Check the external hydraulic valve 1 stack for leaking seals or O-rings.

   Electrical Connections: Inspect the wiring harness and connectors at the EHRC Lift ECU and the Valve Control Module for corrosion or loose pins.

   Depressurize the System

   Turn off the tractor and actuate the hydraulic levers to relieve all residual hydraulic system pressure before servicing.

   Disconnect Power

   Disconnect the battery to prevent electrical shorts while working near the EHRC ECU and valve solenoids.

   Access the Valve Stack

   Locate External Hydraulic Valve 1 at the rear hydraulic manifold block.

   Top up the hydraulic fluid (using SAE 15W-40 or CMS M1145 compliant oil). Reconnect the battery, start the tractor, and use a compatible diagnostic tool to clear the 0A.12.28 DTC.
