Check the cause

  1. Inspect the wiring harness and connectors leading to External Hydraulic Valve 1 for connection problems

  2. Check the spool position sensor circuit for damage, corrosion, or shorting

  3. Verify proper communication between the Dash Control Center and the Valve Module

  4. Clear the error code on the Dash Control Center and attempt to unlock the valves to see if the fault is hard-set

Repair steps

  1. Retrieve and verify the active code (0A.13.18)

Use a compatible diagnostic tool or the tractor's Dash Control Center.

  2. Locate External Hydraulic Valve 1

Find it on the tractor's hydraulic valve block.

  3. Disconnect the battery

Ensure safety while working on the electrical connections.

  4. Disconnect the wiring harness

Disconnect from the valve's spool position sensor and solenoids. Clean the contacts and check for continuity.

  5. Remove the faulty spool valve assembly or spool position sensor

Perform this step if the wiring is intact but the sensor/valve is failing.

  6. Install the replacement valve/sensor

Install the new component and reconnect the wiring harness.

  7. Reconnect the battery

    Restore power to the tractor.

  8. Clear the error code

Turn on the tractor, navigate to the Dash Control Center, and clear the error code.

  9. Manually unlock the valves and test

Unlock the valves through the control interface and test the hydraulic function to ensure the issue is resolved.
